Around Town
Whether
on vacation or business, there are plenty of tourist attractions
in Albuquerque to keep you occupied. On a clear day the beauty
of the surrounding mountains can be viewed quite vividly from
atop Sandia Peak. Also, if you're into natural beauty, Albuquerque
is quite close to many National Parks and monuments. The museums
in the Albuquerque area are an outstanding way to pass time
and learn about our natural, cultural and scientific history.
Albuquerque's Bio-Park is definitely a must see. It consists
of the zoo, aquarium, and botanic gardens.
Make sure you schedule a full day for the walk because you'll
definitely need it. Grapes can grow in New Mexico, and from
those grapes come great wine. Many of the wineries in the
area offer tours and tasting. It's a wonderful way to spend
an afternoon. Albuquerque is nearly surrounded by casinos.
Because of the many Native American reservations in the area
residents and visitors can spend an evening dining in the
restaurants, playing the tables and machines, or taking in
a first class show. Face it, Albuquerque has something to
offer anyone and the Airport University Inn is right in the
center of it all. lp150x08
