Sandia Peak Tramway

The Sandia Peak Tramway is the longest of its kind in the world (2.7 miles). It elevates you to 10,378 feet above sea level (Albuquerque is already at 5000 ft) to some of the best panoramic views in the state. The mountain has great hiking trails (including one back down to the bottom) and is just a short distance away from Sandia's ski resort.
