Old Town

On Central Ave. and Rio Grande Blvd., a short drive from the hotel, is Old Town. Visit the many unique shops, restaurants, and historic sites up and down the streets. Old Town is lined with vendors either in a storefront or sitting on the sidewalk. Some of the most exquisite Southwestern jewelry and other keepsakes are found by visiting these shops and vendors. Right in the center of Old Town is the San Felipe de Neri Church. Fire destroyed the original church but the current structure is used for mass every Sunday and dates back to 1793. A visit to the area to see the church alone is well worth the trip.
