Golf in New
Mexico
Because it is sunny and warm over 300 days a year, New Mexico makes
the perfect place to go for a golfing vacation. No matter what level
golfer you are, the Albuquerque area has a course for you. Many
of the municipal golf courses are great for beginning golfers and
are very moderately priced. For the more advanced player, the area's
Native American reservations and some of the private and semi-private
clubs have more difficult courses to test your skills. In 1996 Piñon
Hills Golf Course (in Farmington, NM) was rated the #1 public golf
course in the country by Golf Digest and #2 in 1997-98. Paa-ko Ridge
is a course that is nestled in the Sandia Mountains and is a beautiful
setting for a round of golf. The mountainous setting makes for difficult
play and is probably a club for the better golfer. ac power cords . extanded battery for Samsung Omnia 7
The Airport University
Inn is the perfect place to stay if you are interested in
golf in the Albuquerque area. If you did bring your clubs,
Paako Ridge is just a short drive away and Piñon Hills
is about a 2 1/2 hour drive but definitely worth the trip.
Also, the University course and one of Albuquerque's municipal
golf courses are located just around the corner.
