Wine Festivals

Due to the number of vineyards and wineries in New Mexico the producers of the spirits have many showcase and festivals to show off their product. The Southern New Mexico Wine Festival takes place in Las Cruces in May at the Southern New Mexico Fair Grounds. Las Cruces also hosts the New Mexico Wine Harvest Festival in late August. Albuquerque has a Wine Festival during Balloon Fiesta at the park in October. The New Mexico Wine Growers Association present New Mexico Wine Festival at Las Golindrinas. This takes place in July in Santa Fe. Probably one of the biggest is the New Mexico Wine Festival at Bernalillo. The whole town comes alive for this annual Labor Day Weekend Event.
